Why I Work

Why I Work
Since I've been home, working around the clock on cartoons for the last few days, maybe you'd like to hear a little extra from me today. First of all, I checked that street corner and it looks like the offending scrawl has been removed from the sidewalk. If they want to erase the offender now, they are more than welcome to do so. I'm tired of people like this who always want to put a frown on my face when I'm innocent and when I've already suffered more than my share at the hands of stars and broadcasters. It's been ten years of this now since I first got noticed on the web. When are these people going to give their ridiculous hate a rest? It seems to have had no positive result whatsoever.

When I think of work, I think of a struggle that brings a positive result. I consider my writing efforts work for that reason. The positive result is a good feeling passed on to the 'consumer' with either a laugh or the compelling distraction of poetry or music. I am hardly ever paid for my work. I do not do it for money but for pleasure. I like drawing and writing poetry. It lets me challenge my brain and helps me feel productive. I also like writing comedy scripts. I approach them like a JavaScript program. (I also like JavaScript.) This is a very sincere motive which seems to show through when people are listening to a song I wrote or looking at a cartoon I drew. They can see the love in my work. It has a very warm feeling which may have a wide appeal.

The idea of limiting the Olympics to amateur competition is to uphold the integrity of the sports being celebrated by eliminating the corrupting influence of money. I know that it is also a popular commercial event but it has a noble foundation with this mindset. People trust amateurs more. That's the kind of trust that those 'professionals' so desperately needed to steal from you when they stole so many of my posts.

I will continue to challenge myself with my music and art for the rest of my life, regardless of my financial situation. I do not share my work to be a star, I share my work because I am an artist. I do not present my work for comparisons with TV stars and rock stars, just maybe for you to hold up against my earlier posts and gauge my progress.

The ones who stole my work stole it to be stars. I am nothing like them and my hard work is a very ill fit for such lazy, selfish people.

More About Walter

More about Walter
I completed one of my cartoons but I need to touch it up a bit before I share it. I recognize one of the pictures as being shared in 2007 - a picture of flying girls in a gymnasium with a coach helping them with their vaults. And I could swear that that 'W' scrawl on the sidewalk at the corner of Pender and Gore, which spread to the corner of Keefer and Gore, is the way I may have originally scrawled his name onto my cartoons. I think my new way is better. It has more loops and is more elegant. Walter is a clever squirrel, which is why they could do nothing with his picture after they stole it. I make my characters more clever than cartoon thieves and they are incapable of writing good scripts for them. But are the offenders in jail now? Are their stolen cartoons offline now? How about the star with the spray can? Are we just going to let him scribble all over the sidewalk like that to annoy me?

Back in 2010, when I couldn't recall any of this fraud and I was a happier person for it, I heard that Saturday Night Live was going to be destroyed by my blogs. I couldn't recall their vast fraud with my work in 2010 and had no desire to hurt Saturday Night Live at the time. Now I recall their vast crime almost to the last detail and I doubt I will ever be happy again as long as I live.

I plan on moving into new cartoon territory with this cartoon in the weeks to come - if possible. Then I might start up another new strip or something. I'll post this finished work tomorrow. A lot of you have probably already seen it in the hands of the person who stole it from my Blogger account ten years ago anyway.

2-D Obsession

2-D Obsession
I've just been home working on cartoons if anyone's been wondering. Looks like I might have two more done by this week. I'll share them when they're ready.

Technical Difficulties

Technical Difficulties
When I updated my image for my latest cartoon this morning, it pasted over half of the other code on my page and I had to fix it. The new post is: Wally the Street Squirrel/Episode 4. You may recognize some of the humor from my past posts. I sure am having a lot of technical problems with my uploading. It's such a struggle for me to share my work when I don't even get paid for it.

That's another rewritten cartoon and I'm the only one who knows how to write for my characters so maybe I'll come up with a few new scripts this time. I really hope they fix that problem with uploading images to my page here.

The Road to Frustration

The Road to Frustration
I posted a recital of my poem the Road to Elysium on YouTube this morning. I had no problem watching it on YouTube and I do like Captain Beefheart, as was recommended for me, but I seem to have trouble downloading the MP4. It always comes out in fragments. The more I try to download it, the shorter it gets. I'm going to try one more time but at least it works on the site.

A Reluctant Addition

A Reluctant Addition
I almost made it here to the central library branch without needing to post a statement. I hate posting statements and I only ever do so out of necessity to protect my honor and answer any assaults against me that I sense in the street. Yesterday, for instance, both sides of the street were packed with hand holders all the way here, much as I showed you in my April Scenes video. Every time this happens it coincides with someone who is committing crimes with my posts. Such people want to create the image of a 'decent' crowd that rejects me, hoping I will lash out and say something to undermine my apparent acceptance by the mainstream. I saw almost no hand holders today, which is normal, but I did have to take a rather nasty remark from a passer-by on Dunsmuir just now. He said, 'look at the hot dog!' He obviously read my Twitocracy post and wanted to insult me with it. And who is he? Who are his friends? They must have all voted for Christy Clark, hoping she'd be their hero and cut me off of disability so I can starve in the streets. But I would never have needed disability were it not for people like this passer-by with his crippling hate and insane envy of my talent.

I'm keeping tabs on it in this blog and I'm not erasing my posts on this topic anymore because in a couple years time I want to show why it took me so long to get my career off the ground. I came here to add my comedy post of the day. Is anyone stealing my new posts today? Why don't you have a look while I type this in. Make sure to flag them so they go to jail and get punished.

A Hideous Topic

A Hideous Topic
We're heading into the tenth anniversary of a band that stole hours of my music getting signed by a major label on the strength of lying about my penis and I just recently heard that 'she said he wrote on your c**k.'

And I also heard this morning that 'she writes new laughs.' It must be the two hundredth time I've heard this idiotic lie. It is a lie which presumes that I want to make it as a comedian when I only write my laughs for a hobby. Yeah, I asked why I didn't have a job like Rob Petrie because my comedy writing skills are obvious, not because I actually want such a job. My mistake for not explaining every last word of what I said as I said it, I guess. So who is this latest copier and paster of my content? Time to erase her crime from the web and throw her in jail with all the other Telus sponsored frauds. You know Telus, right? Telus, as in david147@telus.net (my 2007 email account) Telus. Telus, as in 'we can't let you have your email account back because we need it to make all the pricks who stole your music and blogs look more authentic' Telus. Telus, as in 'we're a bunch of gangsters who have so much money that we can use it to make our ugly crimes look decent at the expense of our victims' Telus. Telus, as in 'this fraudcast was powered by Telus' Telus.

Abridged on May 16: I talk about who I heard was punished for fraud and give details of the punishment. It is an unspeakable topic but suffice it to say that the so-called 'decent' ones were punished, not me, their victim. No one wrote on my genitals. It soils my mind to have to picture it.

2:14pm: Having endured another barrage of hand holding couples to come back here (see my YouTube video April Scenes), I must add my comedy script for the day. That person who boasts about writing new laughs better get busy and copy and paste something else to keep pace with me. How many of these couples work for Telus? How many work for CBC or CTV? Oh, they must be decent! And I keep hearing about these writers around here. Are they like those thousands of striking television writers from 2007 who were all outmatched by content stolen out of my erased posts? Didn't the quality of those shows go up while the writers were on strike? Well, at least they know how to get a job, just not how to do it very well.

There are enough stars alone aligned against an innocent author here to fill a venue. Why don't I now tell you which stars I know went to prison?

I know that Madonna went to prison and that she doesn't draw or play guitar very well.
I know that Jay Leno went to prison.
I know that Tina Fey went to prison and that she doesn't wash dishes very well.
I know that Jon Stewart went to prison.
I know that Matt Groening went to prison.
I know that Seth MacFarlane went to prison and was beat up there.
I know that Beyonce went to prison.
I know that George Carlin went to prison in 2007.
I know that the host of Dateline went to prison.
I know that Taylor Swift was incarcerated more than once with a tough guard who was eager to 'contact' her on her last return.

These are just the stars I heard went to prison. I heard this morning that 'they are free'. That might explain why I've been having such an unpleasant day so far. I told a lawyer here that when you commit fraud, you go to jail. I told him that that means all the stars who stole my work went to jail or prison and that the media covered it up. He didn't seem to realize this. If I hear about anyone else going to prison, I'll add it here and direct you to the information from an outside link.

On to my comedy post of the day. Maybe you'll find it funnier than I do since I wrote it from my life experience. You may access it from this link: Inside Scoop - Conditions for Stardom.
